Piprahwa Relics of the Buddha on Display in Major Buddhist Temples of LA

For the first time in the history of the US

The Piprahwa relics of the Buddha were on public display at Budart Exhibition and in three major Buddhist temples of Los Angeles. Thousands of people came to receive the blessing of the Relic and to experience the illumination and serenity of meditation simply by being in their presence.

The inaugural Budart Festival featured an international exhibition of meditative artworks curated with a dynamic series of programs to reflect on the beauty, richness and significance of meditation. The Festival invited everyone to experience a a wide range of art and meditation workshops, meditative music concerts, talks by prominent speakers and performances. The centerpiece of the  Festival was the first display in the U.S. of the Piprahwa Buddha relics considered to be the sacred remains of the historical Buddha Sakyamuni.

The Budart Exhibition creates a space where one can experience the fusion of art and meditation in a way never seen before. Paintings and sculptures on display are produced by an international group of artists, who practice meditation and translate their exciting and very personal spiritual journeys into shapes and colors.

In St. Petersburg, we brought together over 20 outstanding musicians and painters and asked them to pour their hearts into collaborative pieces of art. Colors of Joy Art Workshop for Children in Foster Care

We enjoy sharing our inspiration and knowledge with those who need it most. That is why on June 13th 2017, Budart team visited one of the orphanages in Moscow to hold a series of workshops called “The Colors of Joy”. More than 90 children from a Moscow orphanage joined us for entertaining classes in painting, music, and dance.
